Ministry of Health: 4384 tests, 475 infected citizens, 6 loss of life and 366 cured in the last 24 hours<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
The Ministry of Health appeals to citizens to be vaccinated as soon as possible, to protect themselves and the health of others.
Any citizen over the age of 16 can be vaccinated at the health center or at the nearest centralized vaccination point. AntiCOVID vaccines reduce the chance of infection and greatly avoid hospitalizations and fatalities.<\/p>\n
Vaccination is also open for children +12 years old with immune system problems, with a doctor’s recommendation. Vaccination with the third dose has also started for all citizens +18 years old who have passed 6 months from the second dose.
If you suspect you are affected by COVID19 or have signs of the disease, isolate yourself immediately and contact your GP for testing or call the National Emergency number at unique 127.<\/p>\n
We inform you about the situation in the last 24 hours, as follows: 4384 tests were performed, of which 475 citizens tested positive with COVID19, in the following municipalities:<\/p>\n
239 in Tirana, 34 in Durr\u00ebs, 31 Fier, 20 in Shkodra, 14 in Lushnje, 12 in Saranda, 11 in Divjaka, out of 10 citizens in Elbasan, Berat, out of 9 citizens in Vora, Mallakastra, 8 in Ku\u00e7ova, 7 in Kamza , from 5 citizens in Dimal, Gjirokast\u00ebr, Vora, Kruja, Lezha, from 4 citizens in P\u00ebrmet, Skrapar, from 3 citizens in Patos, Tepelena, Kolonj\u00eb, from 2 citizens in Gramsh, Cerrik, Poli\u00e7an, Konispol, Kavaja, from 1 citizen in Kuk\u00ebs, Tropoj\u00eb, Mirdit\u00eb, Shijak, Dib\u00ebr, Selenic\u00eb, Himar\u00eb, Delvin\u00eb, Kor\u00e7\u00eb.<\/p>\n
There are 5,262 active COVID19 patients nationwide.
Currently 98 patients are being treated in COVID hospitals, of which 17 are in more serious condition. Despite the efforts of doctors, in the last 24 hours there are 6 lives lost with SARS-COV2 positive: a citizen from P\u00ebrmet 55 years old, two citizens from Berat aged 62-86 years, three citizens from Tirana aged 62-99 years,<\/p>\n
The Ministry of Health and Social Protection expressed its condolences to the families.
366 citizens have been cured in the last 24 hours, bringing the number of cured to 199,883 since the beginning of the epidemic.<\/p>\n
