However, it should be borne in mind that in Monday&#8217;s reporting, there is a significant increase in cases, as the figures are summarized in one, due to the three-day break due to the New Year holiday.<\/p>\n<p>But researchers say that despite this, the new cases reported yesterday are twice as many as those reported last Monday, the statistics of which came just after a three-day break due to the Christmas holiday.<\/p>\n<p>Dr.  Anthony Fauci, the White House chief health adviser, said Sunday that the increase in coronavirus cases in the US is describing an &#8220;almost vertical&#8221; curve.<\/p>\n<p>Omicron is already the predominant variant in the country.
