Any citizen over 16 years of age can be vaccinated at the health center or at the nearest centralized vaccination point. AntiCOVID vaccines reduce the chance of infection and greatly avoid hospitalizations and fatalities.
Vaccination is also open for children +12 years old with immune system problems, with a doctor’s recommendation.
The Ministry of Health appeals to all +18 years old who have passed 6 months from the second dose, to go to health centers or centralized vaccination points to be vaccinated with the third booster dose.

Despite the efforts of doctors, in the last 24 hours there are 5 loss of life with SARS-COV2 positive: Three citizens from Tirana 59-87 years old, one citizen from Konispoli 66 years old and one citizen from Peqin 80 years old. The Ministry of Health and Social Protection expressed its condolences to the families.
