More than 100,000 people marched across France yesterday against the Macron government’s plans to launch a vaccination passport, removing COVID-19 or post-disease immunity testing options.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
Protesters in many French cities opposed the government’s plans to restrict the rights of the unvaccinated.<\/p>\n
In the capital, Paris, despite the cold and rain, protesters marched with placards reading “We want the truth”, “Freedom” and “No vaccine passport”.<\/p>\n

The French Interior Ministry said 105,200 had taken part in protests across France, 20,000 of them in Paris where there were clashes, arrests and several police officers injured.<\/p>\n

50,000 people also protested in the Austrian capital Vienna, where COVID-19 vaccines will become mandatory from next month.<\/p>\n
In Germany protesters marched in several cities on Saturday, where the largest demonstration was held in Hamburg, with at least 16,000 participants, according to police.<\/p>\n
The protest was held under the slogan \u201cEnough! “Keep your hands off our children.”<\/p>\n
