But now action will be taken against them.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"intro\">&#8220;Out of incitement and calls for violence in chat groups through the Telegram network, the Federal Bureau of Criminal Investigation in Germany, BKA, has targeted the Telegram communication service.&#8221; &#8220;threatening and even publishing death threats,&#8221; said BKA President Holger M\u00fcnch in Wiesbaden.<\/p>\n<p>The BKA has set up a task force to uncover such criminal offenses, as announced by this entity.  &#8220;The purpose is to identify the suspects and prosecute them.&#8221;  This takes place in close coordination with the police authorities and the federal states as well as with the Center for the Fight against Internet Crime at the Attorney General in Frankfurt am Main.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, in the future in politically motivated crime cases, it will be carefully observed how well Telegram cooperates with the &#8220;requests for the cancellation of problematic posts&#8221; and the requests for the collected data, the BKA noted.  &#8220;We intend to cooperate with Telegram, but we will also take measures in case Telegram does not cooperate,&#8221; said M\u00fcnch.<\/p>\n<div id=\"sharing-bar\" class=\"min\">\n<p><strong>Even against scientists and doctors<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The messenger service, in the opinion of the German security authorities, is increasingly turning into a medium of radicalization.  Particularly affected, according to the BAK, are people holding political positions as well as scientists and doctors, who are openly committed against the coronavirus pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>Ten days ago, the media reported that representatives of the authorities at a non-public meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on Internal Affairs, had expressed that a number of requests for termination of posts should be sent to the platform managers to make them cooperate.
