a man was heard saying as he turned his cell phone over to the sea.  &#8220;It&#8217;s a great white shark.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The gruesome footage shows the great shark beating the water hard, attacking the unfortunate victim, as the color of the blood begins to dominate the water.<\/p>\n<p>Emergency services went to Buchan Point beach yesterday around 4.35am but the victim had suffered catastrophic injuries and could not be rescued.<\/p>\n<p>Witnesses said the shark about 5 meters tall attacked the swimmer wearing a water suit.<br \/><iframe title=\"Metro Embed Video Player\" src=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/video\/embed\/2615583\" width=\"540\" height=\"353\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><br \/>&#8220;A boy was swimming and the shark attacked him vertically,&#8221; witness Chris Linto told local television.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We heard a scream and then it looked like a car had fallen into the water, then the fish started beating and dismembered the body, spreading blood everywhere,&#8221; he added.<\/p>\n<p>Another witness who was fishing on the nearby rocks told ABC: &#8220;There were a lot of beatings in the water.&#8221;<\/p>\n<div class=\"jeg_video_container jeg_video_content\"><iframe title=\"Sydney records first fatal shark attack in nearly 60 years as swimmer is mauled to death at beach\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/7jHFOr8hmxM?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer;
