{"id":28273,"date":"2022-02-17T16:51:51","date_gmt":"2022-02-17T16:51:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.imalbania.com\/kosova\/tragedy-with-13-dead-from-falling-into-well-during-marriage-in-india-photos\/"},"modified":"2022-02-17T16:51:51","modified_gmt":"2022-02-17T16:51:51","slug":"tragedy-with-13-dead-from-falling-into-well-during-marriage-in-india-photos","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.imalbania.com\/kosova\/tragedy-with-13-dead-from-falling-into-well-during-marriage-in-india-photos\/","title":{"rendered":"Tragedy with 13 dead from falling into well during marriage in India (photos)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> [ad_1]<br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<div class=\"firstP\">\n<p>At least 13 people have died, falling into a well during a wedding in the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Police said the tragic victims were all women or children, and were sitting on the metal cover of the well which collapsed from their weight.<\/p>\n<p>Two other people were injured in the incident in the city of Kushinagar.<\/p>\n<p>The tragedy happened on Wednesday evening during the traditional &#8220;haldi&#8221; ceremony, in which relatives paint the faces of the bride and groom with saffron paint as a sign of prosperity.<\/p>\n<p>After breaking the cover of the well, the other guests rushed to the aid of the fallen and sent them to the nearby hospital.
