Kanye West seems to have added the “poet” to his talents as after the previous creation entitled “Divorce”, he has distributed today a new poem with the even more intriguing title “Dead”, in which, among other things, signals that “He does not understand that he is dead.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
Here are some opening verses:<\/p>\n
“No one wanted to tell me I was dead. And the only people talking were those in my head.”<\/p>\n
“No one wanted to tell me I was dead. The only people who loved me were those in my dreams.”<\/p>\n
The poem also refers to his divorce from Kim Kardashian and taking the family home from his ex-wife, about which he writes: “The children danced for me in the house I once ran.”<\/p>\n
At the end the poem details how the rapper understands his fate unexpectedly.<\/p>\n
“One day I found a newspaper shop in purgatory, and on the front page the news of my murder,” he wrote. “I was very surprised by what was said \/ This information is for the living \/ And strangely\u2026 you are dead.”<\/p>\n
In some comments on the poem, West refuses to explain the meaning, arguing that “explanation breaks the mystery and magic of true love by placing it in a box where it can be counted.”<\/p>\n
Even in the song “Devil in a New Dress” the rapper alludes that people should be allowed to express themselves emotionally.<\/p>\n
“I feel I have to justify my way of expressing myself even after 20 years of making art and contributing to this planet,” he writes. “But I also feel that we should be allowed to express what men are not allowed to express, or celebrities are not allowed to express.”<\/p>\n
West released the new poems after the judge declared them and Kardashian separate.<\/p>\n
