According to them, the officials of the Municipality of Pogradec, were promised that they would have drinking water 24 hours a day, like most of the inhabitants of the city or villages of this city. “We have only 1 hour a day of drinking water. Not 24 hours a day, but we only have 24 hours of drinking water a month, ”says one of the residents. Another claims that “water comes in droplets, 1 hour in the morning and on rare days in the afternoon”. Residents point out that investments have been made recently, but the winning firm has left the works in the middle. They say the project has changed several times and so far no effort has been made to improve the situation.

Following the complaints, Fiks Fare provided the tender documents conducted by Pogradec Water Supply and Sewerage. This directorate, in November 2020, opened a tender with the object “system of water supply of the village of Lin”, with a limit fund of 16.9 million new ALL. The winner of this tender was the company REJ, with administrator Mr. Luan Kapri. “The administrator and owner of the REJ firm is Mr. Luan Kapri, the cousin of the former mayor of Pogradec, Eduart Kapri” say the residents. According to the document “announcement of the winner” of this tender, this company was the only one in the competition, while it had an offer of 15.9 million new ALL. The winner was announced in early 2021, while the contract was signed a few weeks later. According to the documents, the winning firm had a deadline of 5 months to implement the contract. But, although this deadline has been over for many months, Lin Village Water Supply is not over yet!

Fiks Fare journalists also talked to Mr. Gafurr Adili, mayor of Lin village, who said that they have complained several times, but so far no one has remembered. “The company has done poor work. At first they brought small pipes. Not like the Germans do in Rrajca or on the outskirts of Pogradec. They are poor works that have brought creeps, they have not even thrown sand into the wells. Also, the road they have opened, they have not closed it “says Mr. Adili, while showing that the same company, REJ with owner Mr. Luan Kapri, built in 2005 the Water Supply of Lin Village. “It is the same company that did the work in 2005. Even then, the works were scandalous. Same thing now. No one intervenes for this situation “says Mr. Adili, as he concludes that he has received contacts with Pogradec Water Supply and Sewerage, but this issue has not been resolved yet.

Fiks Fare journalists talked on the phone with the director of the Pogradec Water Supply, who admitted that the tender had a deadline of September 15, 2021. But, he justifies that the deadline was postponed due to snow and frost. “The facility has remained only to be tested because the electricity has not been connected yet. The deadline for doing the works expired on September 15 (2021) it seems to me. From September until now I approved, made the electrical project to connect, that OSHEE requires separate electrical project. I’m doing the power line. While it was freezing and snowing for two months, I could not do any work. And it falls to me that the moment I connect the electricity, I will test the thing. The water supply has some pumps there, those pumps want electricity. If it is connected, there will be 18 to 24 hours of water per day depending on the consumption that people make. It seems to me that they have an hour today! ” he claims, while saying that currently those residents have only 1 hour a day of drinking water.

“They have another hour a day because everyone is without measurement and everyone irrigates the gardens!” he continues, while the journalists ask him that during these months it has been snowing and frosty and the gardens have not been irrigated, “They irrigate the gardens, for example so that the pipe does not freeze and he leaves the tap open” the director continues, while after the question why they were left between works, says that the supervisor of works has brought to the office a document that the firm has done all the work! “I have to do the pressure test the moment I put the pump to work. The pump is put into operation by connecting electricity and therefore this story is stalled “he says, while regarding the works of 2005 he adds that in that area there was more than 10 years that was not invested. Finally, the director gives March 15, 2022 as the deadline when all work will be completed.

top channel

[ad_2]

Source link

[ad_1] Fiks Fare denounced on Tuesday evening the problem of drinking water in the tourist village of Lin in Pogradec, whose residents were promised 24 hours a day, but currently have 24 hours a month!
