Ukrainian President Vlodymyr Zelensky urged Russian mothers on Friday not to send their children to the battlefield and to be vigilant about their whereabouts.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
“Zelensky told them in a video address: ‘Do not send your children to war in a foreign country.’<\/p>\n
He said not to believe the promises that the children will be sent somewhere for training, or in non-combat conditions, and to act immediately if there are doubts that they will leave for Ukraine.<\/p>\n
This address comes after Russia acknowledged on Wednesday, for the first time, the presence of recruits among its forces in Ukraine – most of whom have not been treated for war – and that some of them have been captured.<\/p>\n
The Ukrainian government has accused Russia of preventing evacuations.<\/p>\n
According to her, the Russian attacks have again prevented people from leaving Mariupol.<\/p>\n
Authorities have said more than 1,500 people have been killed in Mariupol and those who remain are living in extremely low temperatures.<\/p>\n
This city currently has little water and few food and water supplies.<\/p>\n

Zelensky has said fewer evacuations have been carried out from four key cities in recent days, due to ongoing Russian attacks.<\/p>\n
