{"id":35531,"date":"2022-03-19T12:13:54","date_gmt":"2022-03-19T12:13:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.imalbania.com\/kosova\/ukraine-over-14000-russian-troops-have-been-killed\/"},"modified":"2022-03-19T12:13:54","modified_gmt":"2022-03-19T12:13:54","slug":"ukraine-over-14000-russian-troops-have-been-killed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.imalbania.com\/kosova\/ukraine-over-14000-russian-troops-have-been-killed\/","title":{"rendered":"Ukraine: Over 14,000 Russian troops have been killed"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> [ad_1]<br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<div class=\"firstP\">\n<p>The general staff of the Ukrainian Army claimed that over 14,000 Russian troops had been killed during the first three weeks of the Russian occupation of Ukraine.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Through a Facebook post, Ukrainian officials said close to 14,400 Russian soldiers had been killed.<\/p>\n<p>The post also said that Moscow had lost military equipment, including 1,470 armored personnel carriers, 60 tanks and over 100 fighter jets and helicopters.<\/p>\n<p>These claims could not be independently confirmed, although Western intelligence sources have suggested that close to 7,000 bodies were killed and between 14,000 and 21,000 others injured.<\/p>\n<p>The announcement comes on the day Ukrainian forces also claimed to have killed the fifth Russian general.<\/p>\n<p>Ukrainian forces in Irpin, northwest of Kiev.  March 13, 2022.<\/p>\n<p>Lieutenant General Andrei Mordvichev would be the highest-ranking Russian commander killed in the war to date, although even this news has not been independently verified.<\/p>\n<p>Russia launched its unprovoked invasion of Ukraine on February 24.
