Women’s rights activists vowed on Sunday to launch a wave of protests across Afghanistan if the Taliban fail to reopen girls’ high schools within a week.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
Thousands of high school girls flocked to the classrooms on Wednesday after the Taliban reopened their institutions for the first time since taking power last August.<\/p>\n
