The Bruce Willis family announced today that the famous American actor is retiring from acting after being diagnosed with a serious mental illness.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
“Bruce has had mental health problems and has been diagnosed with aphasia, a condition which has affected his cognitive abilities,” a family comment said.<\/p>\n
Bruce Willis is known as the action hero of the “Die Hard” movies of the series that family members said he adored.<\/p>\n
Aphasia is a disease that occurs after a stroke or ischemia in the brain and extinguishes the human ability to communicate.<\/p>\n
Specialists say that aphasia impairs the subject’s ability to speak, write, and understand language, both verbally and in writing.<\/p>\n
“We are going through this together as a family and we wanted the fans to know, so important to him,” it said.<\/p>\n
