He received 408 votes against 24 votes received by the other candidate Aqif Mesi, while he also had 8 invalid votes.  Voting based on the principle one member, one vote was welcomed by the members.<\/p>\n<p>In December last year, the chairman of the Democratic Party branch in Fush\u00eb Kruj\u00eb, Agron Loka, was fired by Lulzim Basha, a dismissal that was not accepted by the leader of the Democrats in Fush\u00eb-Kruj\u00eb, who at the time stated that he did not recognize the decision of Basha.
