A 12-year-old boy has raised more than ,000 200,000 for war-torn Ukrainians in a Save the Children appeal.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
Gabriel Clark from Cumbria, went viral last month after his father Richard made a request on social media to follow his son’s Instagram account, which showed his woodwork.<\/p>\n
In a very short time Gabriel’s Instagram account, which shared photos of handmade creations by the school’s students, already had 225,000 followers.<\/p>\n
Clark decided to create a special wooden bowl for Ukraine, to raise funds for those affected by the war.<\/p>\n
The “Bowl For Ukraine” appeal will end today when a random winner is chosen, who will receive Gabriel’s wooden bowl.<\/p>\n
“How this will end is up to you. It’s your story. Of course we can all cuddle behind a back for a job well done. ‘Save the Children’ are already extremely grateful for the real change this money will make. But what if there was another end? What if we showed caution and let go of our cynicism and really go for it? “What if we were to pull out of the water this stupid tale of a little boy and his bowl with one last blow around the moon?” Gabriel Richard’s father wrote in a message on social media.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
