I sent two cardinals Michael Czerny and Konrad Krajewski who visited Ukraine. First I have to go to Moscow and meet Putin. But I am a priest, what should I do? I will do what I can if Putin opens the door. On the first day of the war, I called Ukrainian President Zelensky, but I did not call Putin. I had talked to him in December about my birthday, but this time no, I did not call him. I wanted to make a clear gesture to be seen by the whole world and so I met the Russian ambassador. I then asked Cardinal Parolin, after twenty days of war, to send Putin the message that I was ready to go to Moscow. We have not yet received an answer and we continue to insist, even if I am afraid that Putin can not and will not hold this meeting now. But how can you stop so much brutality? “Twenty-five years ago we experienced the same thing with Rwanda.”

top channel

[ad_2]

Source link

[ad_1] Pope Francis has said in an interview with ‘Corriere Della Sera’ that he wants a meeting in Moscow with Vladimir Putin, in an attempt to stop the war, but has not yet received a response from him.
