The world’s only twins – nine Mali babies born all at the same time – are “in perfect health” as they celebrated their first birthday, their father said yesterday.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
“They have started to crawl. “Some are sitting and can walk holding on to something,” Abdelkader Arby, a member of the Malian army, told the BBC.<\/p>\n
The babies are still in the clinic in Morocco where they were born, while their 26-year-old mother, Halima Ciss\u00e9, is also fine.<\/p>\n
“It’s wonderful, all the babies are in perfect health, we are relieved,” said the father, who has just returned to Morocco for the first time in six months, along with the couple’s eldest daughter, three-year-old Souda.<\/p>\n
