Russian oil baron Alexander Subbotin reported today that he has died after an unusual medical treatment with frog venom, which was recommended to him by a shaman (alternative folk healer) to cure his headache after drinking, according to sources.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
There are at least five Russian oligarchs who have lost their lives in ways that can be explained since leader Putin launched the attack on Ukraine.<\/p>\n
Alexander Subbotin has been the former head of Russian energy giant Lukoil. He was found dead in the central area of \u200b\u200bMoscow, Mytishchi.<\/p>\n
Subbotin was reportedly undergoing alternative medication at the time of his death. Alternative medicine is common among the aristocratic class in Russia, with Putin himself reportedly using a bizarre “deer antler” medicine.<\/p>\n
According to the Russian channel in the Telegram network, Mash, Subbotin had visited a shaman specializing in the treatment of pancreatic venom, which is often referred to as a strong hallucinogenic drug.<\/p>\n
“They make an incision in the skin, drop the poison drop and the patient vomits and feels better,” the network wrote, adding that the procedure is also used to summon other spirits and rituals.<\/p>\n
Subbotin reportedly felt unwell after treatment and sought medical help, but the shaman had laid him on the bed to sleep.<\/p>\n
Subbot’s mysterious death brings to six the number of sudden deaths of Russian oligarchs since the start of the war. While a seventh is reported to have died a few weeks before the start of the Russian attack.<\/p>\n
Sergey Protosenya, the former head of the Russian conglomerate Novatek, was found dead just like his wife and daughter in a villa rented in Spain last month.<\/p>\n
In the same week Gazprombank vice-president Vladislav Avaev was found dead in his luxury apartment on the exclusive Universitetsky Prospekt in Moscow, along with his wife and daughter.<\/p>\n
Vasily Melnikov died with his family at his home in Nizhny Novgorod in March.<\/p>\n
Mikhail Watford, the Russian oligarch by the name of Mikhail Tolstosheya, was found hanged in his garage in February in Surrey, Britain.<\/p>\n
A few days earlier, Gazprom CEO Alexander Tyulyakov was found dead in a rural villa near St. Petersburg. Before the start of the war, Tyulyakov’s colleague Leonid Shulman was found dead in a Leningrad villa in what was reported to be suicide.<\/p>\n
