When I talk about good New Yorkers, I mean the Albanian community. You represent good New Yorkers, tireless, dedicated and devoted workers who believe in public safety and the quality of life we deserve as a city. This street naming, where everyone who will pass through it, will raise their head up and see the name, will show what you consider a leader, a hero, he is the name we are giving to this street. It is so significant to know and respect him in a city that you have made as big as it is. Mr. Veliaj, thank you for being here among us, as we name this important road and I say to all my friends of the Albanian community: I do not consider you just a citizen, but as my brothers and sisters “, said the Mayor of New York.

A special moment was the speech of the leader of the majority in the US Senate, Chuck Shumer, who has made an important contribution to his career on the Albanian cause. “Love you so much! I love your community because you are the best in America! Many people came here in the ’50s-’60s-’70s, all you wanted to do was work hard and ensure a good life for yourself and your children. And you did it! In my palace we have a man, a wonderful Albanian, who started working as a goalkeeper and now owns 8 palaces. This is Albanian history! “So, to see this community grow and make progress, you start to believe in New York and believe in America.” declared the senator, Chuck Shumer.

top channel

[ad_2]

Source link

[ad_1] The mayor of New York says the best words for the Albanian community there, Adams: “You are good New Yorkers, hard workers, I consider you as my sisters and brothers”; Senator Shumer speaks in Albanian: “You are the best in America” The Mayor of New York, Eric Adams has not spared the appreciation for […]

[359
1569,3701,2272,4830,3500,1525,3514
post-50196","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-attualita","tag-albanian","tag-america","tag-brothers","tag-community","tag-mayor","tag-sisters","tag-york
["GET
