Beaune told French radio on May 22.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It can take 15-20 years, this process takes time.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>He has said he does not want to create illusions for Ukrainians or lie to them.<\/p>\n<p>The comments came after French President Emmanuel Macron suggested that Ukraine be invited to join an EU-linked political community.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We do not need such compromises,&#8221; Zelensky told a joint news conference with Portuguese Prime Minister Antonio Costa on May 21.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Because, believe me, there will be no compromise with Ukraine in Europe.  &#8220;It will be a compromise between Europe and Russia,&#8221;
