On Tuesday this week Texas was involved in a tragic attack on an elementary school where 19 children and two teachers lost their lives. A young gunman struck incessantly in a classroom leaving a tragic death toll.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
This is not the first time these attacks have occurred in the US, as there have been ongoing attacks on schools since 2008.<\/p>\n
According to CNN, 5 of them are considered the most tragic, which took the lives of 175 children and adults.<\/p>\n
These deadly shootings took place in Newton, Connecticut; Parkland, Florida; Santa Fe, Texas; Oxford, Michigan and Tuesday’s mass shooting in Uvalde, Texas.<\/p>\n
Gun attacks in the United States have occurred because many Americans have the right to bear arms, sanctioned in the U.S. Constitution, as sacred. But in recent decades this right is threatening another, which is the right to life.<\/p>\n
America’s relationship with gun ownership is considered unique in the world, but is causing other catastrophic consequences to humans.<\/p>\n
The most recent event has gathered the Senate, while Chuck Schumer said they will vote on gun safety legislation.<\/p>\n
Schumer said he was willing to give some time and space for efforts to reach a bipartisan compromise on arms legislation, though he acknowledged it would take time.<\/p>\n
“Today the Senate will have a chance to act on a harmful issue that has recently become an increasingly pervasive component of the gun violence epidemic in America.”<\/em> he said.<\/p>\n Schumer acknowledged that Republicans could block the bill from advancing, while stressing that he is willing to allow a link to bipartisan efforts to reach a compromise on arms control.<\/p>\n \n<\/p>\n top channel
