For April the decrease in ports is 5.7%, while for the first 4 months of the year the decrease reaches 6.9%.

There is also a decrease in the transport of goods by rail, but the sea transport is felt more as it accounts for half of the transport of goods coming to the country.

Fewer construction materials are coming to Albania, the prices of which have increased due to the war, while according to figures from the Customs, the amount of oil has also decreased.

The government took a decision to compensate 30% of the companies’s raw material in the reconstruction projects, so that public investments would not be stopped.

Reducing the quantity of goods and consequently that of consumption in the country is a worrying factor, as this item is key in terms of increasing domestic production in the country.

The Ministry of Finance forecasts economic growth to be at 3.2%, but high inflation and further aggravation of the energy crisis may worsen this indicator.

Meanwhile, from the transport figures, the only sector where our country is performing well in the first four months of the year is the influx of passengers. The strongest increase was experienced by passenger transport by air, while the number of flights increased by 2.5 times.

Meanwhile from the sea there has been such a trend, with passengers on ferries, which have come with a 76% increase from a year ago.

This is also seen from the entry figures of foreign nationals that in April I were approximated to 2019, which is considered as the best year for the entry of foreign nationals in the country.

top channel

[ad_2]

Source link

[ad_1] Although foreign trade set records in value, transport figures show that the amount of goods entering the country has decreased compared to a year ago.
