The return of Nottigham Forest to the Premier League is without a doubt one of the romantic stories of the football weekend. But this achievement of the historic English club was not accepted by the fans of Huddersfield, Forest’s opponent in the playoff final.

On social media, in fact, there is harsh reaction from Huddersfield supporters, who claim that their team did not tune two clean 11-meters.

The episodes referred to by the fans took place in the second half: in the first case referee Moss gave a yellow card for simulation to Toffolo, despite the fact that Colback’s irregular intervention was clearly visible, while in the second case (even more sensational case) ) the judge ignored Lowe’s blow to O’Brien’s pulp.

The VAR system confirmed the two dubious decisions of Chief Moss, whose behavior has been described as “absurd” by Huddersfield fans. Controversy has erupted especially on Twitter, with one indignant post after another.

“Jon Moss is one of the worst referees in the history of football.”

“We have been robbed”

“An investigation must be launched”

“Shocking VAR”

In England we have often seen that the VAR system does not interfere much in the referee’s decisions, but maybe this time an exception can be made, as the cases are really very suspicious./ SuperSport

top channel
