Twenty bodies of victims are reported to have been found after yesterday’s crash of a plane in a mountainous area of \u200b\u200bNepal.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
The first images of the wreckage of the accident were published today by the country’s army after the disappearance on Sunday of the plane with 22 passengers.<\/p>\n
Parts of the plane are seen scattered at the top crash site in Sanosware, Mustang.<\/p>\n
Nepal’s army and police are still at the scene searching among the rubble.<\/p>\n
To Raj Sitaula, a spokesman for Tribhuvan International Airport in the capital Kathmandu, the search for the missing continues.<\/p>\n
The groups were seen working with bare hands and some of the larger metal rubble has not yet been moved.<\/p>\n
Among the 19 passengers and 3 crew members on board the unfortunate plane were 13 Nepalese nationals, four from India and two Germans.<\/p>\n
The Tara Air plane was flying 20 minutes from Pokhara resort, 125 miles west of Kathmandu, in the mountain town of Jomsom.<\/p>\n
The vehicle lost contact with the airport 5 minutes before the time when it had to land in the frequented tourist area, which often welcomes tourists from Europe, India and locals from Nepal.<\/p>\n
The weather in the area had been rainy but the flights had operated normally.<\/p>\n
The plane was found at an altitude of 4,500 meters, while investigators are also searching in the gorge between the two mountains.<\/p>\n
Nepal has some of the highest mountains in the world, including the summit of Everest, but it has also recorded some serious air accidents.<\/p>\n
