A senior Turkish diplomat claimed that a letter had been sent to the United Nations asking the UN and other international organizations to use the name &#8220;T\u00fcrkiye&#8221; instead of &#8220;Turkey&#8221; in the future.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>The state news agency Anadolu says that Turkey no longer wants to be called &#8220;Turkey&#8221; in the international arena and international diplomatic documents, with the English name, but &#8220;T\u00fcrkiye&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>President Recep Tayyip Erdo .an considers that the definition &#8220;Made in T\u00fcrkiye&#8221; better expresses the culture, civilization and values \u200b\u200bof the Turkish nation.
