Naim Bajri did not manage to finish his morning coffee, after he was shot with bullets around 07:20, in the “Russian Market”, in the “Partizani” neighborhood of Shkodra.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

He was sitting in a bar in the Russian market at the moment when the perpetrators approached him, shooting him several times with a firearm. Another citizen was injured after the shooting.<\/p>\n

A burnt car was found in the “Kiras” neighborhood, which is suspected to belong to the perpetrators of Naim Bajri’s murder.<\/p>\n

Checkpoints have been set up and the area is being combed by the local police and FNSH Shkodra, as well as RENEA groups have started in the direction of Shkodra.<\/p>\n

The 68-year-old who was executed this morning is the father of Indri Bajri, known as the “strongman” of Shkodra, who was executed in 2001.<\/p>\n

On October 21, 2001, Ilmir Hajdari together with Xhabir Shegaj and Kujtim Barbullushi executed Indrit Bajri with a machine gun. Shegaj himself was executed by sniper in 2015 for the murder of Indri Bajri.<\/p>\n

At that time, the police discovered that Ilmir Hajdari had threatened each other during a fierce debate with Indrit Bajri. On the day of the event, Ilmiri, after taking Xhabir Shega and Kujtim Barbullushi with him, were traveling in a “Mercedes Benz” car. At the intersection, near the School of Music, Ilmir Hajdari noticed Indrit Bajri and then shot in his direction.<\/p>\n

Xhabir Shega and Kujtim Barbullushi also shot Bajri, causing his immediate death.<\/p>\n

In connection with this event, Ilmir Hajdari was sentenced to 16 years in prison. The latter was arrested in 2009, but after 4-5 years he was released declaring in the courtroom that he is not the perpetrator of Bajri’s murder.<\/p>\n
