About 800 Ukrainian soldiers, civilians and even children are reportedly hiding in a factory in eastern Ukraine, as the city is already 80% occupied by Russian forces, writes the British Metro.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
Ukrainian soldiers have vowed to fight “to the end” in Sievierodonestsk as the Kremlin’s war on Kiev reaches its 100th day.<\/p>\n
The city in the eastern Luhansk region, has so far suffered about 1,500 victims from military attacks, lack of food and medicine, write western reports.<\/p>\n
The main road leading to Sievierodonestsk is under the control of Kiev forces.<\/p>\n
But Russia continues to make steady advances that are enabled by the large concentration of artillery, according to the British Ministry of Defense.<\/p>\n
The head of Luhansk’s military administration, Serhiy Gaidai, said at least 800 people were hiding in the shelters of the Soviet-era ‘Nitrogen’ chemical plant.<\/p>\n
“There are locals who refused to leave the city, there are children but not many,” he added.<\/p>\n
The attacks started from inside, east and northeast of the city.<\/p>\n
Taking control of Sievierodonestsk would give the Russian despot Vladimir Putin<\/a> control of the entire Luhansk region.<\/p>\n Kremlin troops already control 20% of Ukraine, Zelenski said yesterday, as some 7 million people have fled as refugees to Europe.<\/p>\n Zelenski added that about 100 die every day in combat and about 500 are injured.<\/p>\n \n<\/p>\n top channel
