Is that the police unit was conducting a legal operation,&#8221; said National Police spokesman Derrick Carreon.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We will continue to investigate the documents, but the priority now is to care for the injured,&#8221; Carreon added.<\/p>\n<p>Anti-drug unit spokesman Brig.  Gen.  Ildebrandi Usana said that the incident, &#8220;although it was serious, will not affect the cooperation and coordination between the two law enforcement agencies and their commitment to the fight against drugs.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte has led what has been known as the &#8220;war on drugs&#8221; since coming to power in 2016.
