{"id":56757,"date":"2022-06-08T13:23:46","date_gmt":"2022-06-08T13:23:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.imalbania.com\/kosova\/an-economics-lecturer-who-worked-at-a-university-with-an-italian-woman-is-accused-of-killing-her-at-their-home-in-britain-photos\/"},"modified":"2022-06-08T13:23:46","modified_gmt":"2022-06-08T13:23:46","slug":"an-economics-lecturer-who-worked-at-a-university-with-an-italian-woman-is-accused-of-killing-her-at-their-home-in-britain-photos","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.imalbania.com\/kosova\/an-economics-lecturer-who-worked-at-a-university-with-an-italian-woman-is-accused-of-killing-her-at-their-home-in-britain-photos\/","title":{"rendered":"An economics lecturer who worked at a university with an Italian woman is accused of killing her at their home in Britain (photos)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> [ad_1]<br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<div class=\"firstP\">\n<p>An economics professor who worked on the same university campus with his wife has been charged today with stabbing her to death at their home in eastern Britain.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Italy-born 52-year-old Dr Antonella Castelvedere was found with serious injuries at the couple&#8217;s 260,000-pound home in the town of Colchester at noon on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>Dr Castelvedere lectured in English and wrote academically at the University of Suffolk, where her husband also taught.<\/p>\n<p>Ertan Ersoy, 50, originally from Turkey, appeared today in Colchester court accused of murder.<\/p>\n<p>He was an outside lecturer teaching as a visiting lecturer at Suffolk University Business School.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Ersoy had a degree in political science from Ankara University, according to his online profile.<\/p>\n<p>He also had a master&#8217;s degree in economics from Marmara University in Turkey.<\/p>\n<p>Chief Police Inspector Antony Alcock said: \u201cAlthough we have already filed charges, our teams are continuing to work on gathering evidence.  &#8220;It simply came to our notice then.<\/p>\n<p>The benefactors had left homage and flowers outside the house, where today police officers were still standing.<\/p>\n<p>A neighbor on the other side of the street told the media: \u201cIt is terrible, the woman also had a daughter of hers.  Yesterday there were people crying outside the house, it must have been her family.  We did not know each other very well, we just greeted each other.  &#8220;The deceased was friendly but we did not see her often.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Dr Castelvedere was from the province of Brescia in northern Italy and had lived in Britain for 25 years.<\/p>\n<p>Neighbors described him as &#8220;quiet&#8221; and quite likable.<\/p>\n<p>Dr Castelvedere&#8217;s father, Spartaco, has been the director of agriculture in Brescia while her mother Mina and brother Ferruccio live in the town of Bagnolo Mella.
