North Korea on Thursday reported the outbreak of an unidentified intestinal epidemic in an agricultural region.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
This news aggravates this isolated state even more, as it faces chronic food shortages and a wave of coronavirus infections.<\/p>\n
North Korean leader Kim Jong Un sent medicine to the western city of Haeju on Wednesday to help patients facing an “acute enteric epidemic,” the state-run KCNA news agency said, without giving details of the number affected. and without identifying the disease.<\/p>\n
