After the four-day boycott, the Chamber of Advocates, in a reaction, warns of escalation of stay until a national and indefinite boycott.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
As of Tuesday, lawyers have been involved in boycotting the merits proceedings. They demand that the judiciary government withdraw from the new judicial map in which 18 courts are reduced.
About 2 thousand lawyers have boycotted the processes in the form of strikes to force the HJC to reflect on the new court map, for which in fact the HJC has already voted to close many courts.
But, in the reaction of the Chamber of Advocates, it is stated that \u201cThe HJC has ignored and has not considered their proposals.<\/p>\n

Steering Committee of the Albanian Bar Association, in the extended meeting of
dated 17 June 2022, with the participation of the presidents of the local chambers of
advocacy, considered the implementation of the decision to boycott the proceedings
court for a period of four days. This Steering Committee evaluates the fulfillment of
the purpose for which this decision was taken, considering it as the beginning of a process for
meeting the requirements regarding the practice of the profession of lawyer in
Republic of Albania.<\/p>\n

the decision-making process by the government will be subject to the assessment of the attitude of
the bar, escalating our future stance towards a
total and indefinite boycott.<\/p>\n
