Erdogan spoke after an inspection of the area, where the fires affected a forest area of \u200b\u200bnearly 4,000 hectares.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Fortunately, these fires have been brought under control to a large extent.  Reforestation efforts will begin as soon as possible.  &#8220;We are happy above all that there was no loss of life and there are no reports of disappearances,&#8221; Erdogan said.<\/p>\n<p>Due to the fires however, nearly 20 people ended up in hospital with various injuries.  Authorities arrested a 34-year-old man who apparently confessed to lighting a fire after several disputes with family members.
