Julio Cesar is undoubtedly one of the most famous names of the gate, who managed to win the famous triple with Jose Mourinho’s Inter and exactly with the Portuguese there was a very interesting episode, when the coach arrived at the Zikaltri.

“I usually played with the gray shirt, but in the summer that Mourinho came, the first day I found an article in the locker room explaining that goalkeepers who wear strong colored shirts put opponents in trouble. I did not know, but only later did I learn that this article had left Mourinho there. ‘I see through the gate and my eye does not catch my goalkeeper,’ he told me one day, trying to explain to me that with the shirt I was wearing, I was not attracting attention“, Confesses Julio Cesar.

However, an episode before a transfer to Fiorentina, brought a lot of tension between the two and made Julio Cesar then lunate with the yellow jersey.

“He called me in the office and we debated for a long time about the color of the shirt. In the end the discussion closed with the words of Mourinho, who told me: do what you want, but I want a goalkeeper with personality and not one who passes the ball under his feet. The next day I wore the yellow jersey and we won the match. From that moment on, I always played with the yellow jersey, although the sponsors did not like it very much.“, Closes his story Julio Cesar./ Super Sport

top channel
