After the audio recording of Sergio Ramos with the president of the Spanish Federation, Luis Rubiales, where the defender asked the president for a favor to help him win the Ballon d’Or, another audio recording has recently appeared on the scene.

This time he meets Gerard Pique, who, like Ramos, spoke to the president of the Spanish Federation asking him to set a date that suited the defender for Spain’s game against Romania in 2019. All because Pique was dying to watch a Davis Cup tennis match with his girlfriend at the time, Shakira.

“Rubi, we need to talk about a very important issue, we need to do each other a favor. If I explain it, I see that on November 18, on Monday, Spain has a match with Romania. But, on that date the Davis Cup starts and Shakira is part of the opening ceremony. There will be a big show, and in the afternoon there will be matches.

If the Spain match is played on the same day, then we will spoil each other’s work. I don’t know how the calendar is, but if we play the game on Sunday then it would be a miracle. If you haven’t started selling tickets then let’s postpone the national team match

However, president Rubiales did not move the date of the national team match, a challenge in which Pique did not appear as Furia Roya beat Romania 5-0.
