Earlier in the day, al-Tamimi said the ministry he heads received the first 50,000 votes cast by Chinese company Sinopharm.<\/p>\n<p>On January 26, the Iraqi parliament announced it would buy 1.6 million doses from Pfizer and eight million from AstraZeneca.<\/p>\n<p>Most recently, Iraq recorded 30 new deaths and 3,690 new infections from COVID-19.
