De Vries, was arrested on July 4, the Dutch Public Prosecutor&#8217;s Office announced.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><em>&#8220;A suspect has been arrested, he is a Polish man, 27 years old.  He was arrested for coordinating the persons who committed the murder.&#8221;<\/em> Prosecution spokeswoman Brechtje van de Moosdijk told Reuters.<\/p>\n<p>De Vries is widely admired for his courage in reporting on crime in the Netherlands.  He was shot dead in July last year.  The murder took place on a busy street in Amsterdam.<\/p>\n<p>The journalist&#8217;s murder sparked outrage across the Netherlands.
