A considerable area of \u200b\u200bpines and bushes has been engulfed by the flames in Krast\u00eb i Kruja.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Firefighters are facing a difficult situation in the Krasta pine massif, as the fire progresses rapidly. Initially, the fires broke out in the forest area near the old cement factory in Fush\u00eb-Kruje. Many hectares have been engulfed in flames, while local firefighters continue to work on the ground to bring the situation under control.<\/p>\n

This morning, firefighters brought three fires under control, but new fires, about 6 to 7 fires, have ignited in other parts of the pine forest massif. According to the firefighters, it is a matter of deliberate arson and the police have been notified of the situation and to investigate and bring the arsonists to justice.<\/p>\n

In the conditions of high temperatures and difficult terrain, the fight with flames is difficult, while the need for additional forces is present. There is still no official damage balance in the green crown of Krasta, but it is preliminarily declared for more than 10 hectares of charred pine forest.<\/p>\n
