Residents in Mariupol are suffering in terrible conditions after numerous food and water shortages.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
The situation is dire in this city controlled by the Russians, but what is more problematic is the lack of doctors, who have all left the city.<\/p>\n
The councilor of the municipality of Mariupol, Petro Andryushchenko, has shown that only 3 percent of the inhabitants can be supplied with water, and long queues are created for the supply of drinking water.<\/p>\n
Many people are being forced to walk for kilometers to stand in line at water collection points, which include sewage wells, Andryushchenko said.<\/p>\n
Olena Halushka, a writer and political commentator, said the combination of lack of health care and drinking water, “chaotic burials” and the heat was “terrible”.<\/p>\n
