Elena Rybakina defeats Ons Jabeur in the final and wins this year’s edition (2022) of the Wimbledon tournament.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The Kazakh tennis player achieves her first career Slam success, defeating the world number 2 2-1 in straight sets, 3-6, 6-2, 6-2, against all odds in a duel that lasted an hour and 51 minutes.<\/p>\n

In the first set, the Tunisian tennis player imposed her brand, taming Rybakina’s aggressive game. In the second set, however, the music changed, with the Kazakh (who left the Russian federation in 2018) breaking Jabuer’s serve twice, closing out 6-2.<\/p>\n

At the beginning of the third set, the excellent moment of Rybakina follows, who wins the first two “games” and puts Jabeur with her shoulders against the wall, who also surrenders in this final set with the same score of 6-2. Rybakina becomes the youngest tennis player after 2015 to win the Wmbledon.\/ Super Sport<\/p>\n
