Since childhood, Kyrgios has always dreamed of basketball and continued playing tennis only for the sake of his parents, recently he confessed some of his greatest sufferings such as suicidal thoughts or drug addiction.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I had suicidal thoughts, it was a dark period for me.  I didn&#8217;t want to get out of bed and not play in front of millions of people.  I was alone and depressed, abusing drugs and alcohol. Now I am very proud to say that I am a totally different person, I enjoy every moment and I want people to reach their maximum potential and be happy.  Life is Beautiful.<\/p>\n<p>It has been difficult for me to break away from basketball.  It was my first love and for me basketball serves as meditation.  But when I was 14, my parents told me not to play basketball anymore.  My heart hurt, it still does.
