Police officers in the US have shot dead a snake at least 5 meters long that was wrapped around the neck of an unconscious 28-year-old man in the latter’s home.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
Officers shot the massive snake in the head because “the man appeared to be in serious condition and they needed to act quickly,” authorities said.<\/p>\n
The police were called to a rural area in Pennsylvania<\/a> where a 28-year-old man had gone into cardiac arrest during the attack at his home on Wednesday.<\/p>\n Officers arrived around 2 p.m. when they found the giant reptile clutching the man’s neck in the Macungie Township community, police Lt. Peter Nickischer told the Daily The Independent<\/a>.<\/p>\n Police said the snake was long and its head was far enough away from the man’s body that officers could safely shoot it.<\/p>\n The victim, whose identity has not been released, is reportedly receiving treatment at the hospital.<\/p>\n Police said they discovered several individual compartments for snakes in the victim’s home, which means the attack came from his pet.<\/p>\n \n<\/p>\n top channel
