Sweden plays the final of the European women’s championship against England on Tuesday night. The latter are at home and will seek glory, which the boys did not achieve a year ago against Italy.

However, Sweden will look to spoil the plans and despite not being quoted as a favorite, it still remains the national team with the best world ranking of the event. The Nordic girls are led by Kosovar Albanian Asllani, who recently signed with Milan.

Before the final, Sweden received a lot of attention from the media, while details about the background of the Kosovar were not saved. In the British press, it is emphasized that Asllani is the daughter of immigrant parents from Albania, while they also bring to attention an eagle that she has tattooed on her leg. Meanwhile, a statement of the soccer player is also recalled, which emphasizes that she feels Albanian.

“I was born in Sweden, but I am very proud of my background. My parents were born and raised in Kosovo, so I am both Albanian and Swedish. I grew up in a family where we listened to Albanian songs and I adore them. We are not a bad country”, said Asllani in the past.

So, the presence of Magdalena Eriksson, who is related to another soccer player, Pernille Harder, who is active with the Danish national team, stands out in the Swedish team. The couple became famous in 2019 when they shared a kiss in front of the cameras at the World Cup in France. However, Eriksson has always emphasized that he did not kiss for the cameras while adding that he does not pretend to be a model for people, and also asks not to turn into a figure of the LGBT group.

Meanwhile, another element that gives confidence to Sweden for the triumph in the final is Fridolina Rolfo, the attacker who is active with Barcelona even though she has scored only one goal in four European matches./SuperSport
