US President Joe Biden has accepted the request of some US congressmen who have called for the issue of the Byty\u00e7i brothers and the case of Vasfije Krasniqi-Goodman to be on his agenda.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
The news was announced by Krasniqi-Goodman’s brother, Nafi Krasniqi, through a Facebook post, saying that they are determined to seek justice for civilian victims.<\/p>\n
The letter reads: \u201cWe ask you to keep your promise to bring justice to the Byty\u00e7i family. We also respectfully demand justice for all victims of war crimes committed during the Kosovo War\u2026 We urge you to fulfill your commitment to seek an answer from President Vu\u00e7iic and to request a full investigation into this case ‘.<\/p>\n
Nafi Krasniqi writes that they are determined to seek justice, and their request goes beyond a single case. He mentions Councilor Mark Gjonaj as the creator and supporter of the initiative: “Rallyforherjustice”, who had and has a clear vision of how the issue of the Bytyci Brothers, the case of Vasfija, but also of over 20 thousand survivors should be on the agenda of Congressmen, the President and the US Congress.<\/p>\n
