The Ministry of Health appeals to citizens to be vaccinated as soon as possible, to protect themselves and the health of others. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n
Any citizen over 16 years of age can be vaccinated at the health center or at the nearest centralized vaccination point. AntiCOVID vaccines reduce the chance of infection and greatly avoid hospitalizations and fatalities.
Vaccination is also open for children +12 years old with immune system problems, with a doctor’s recommendation. Vaccination with the third dose has also started for all citizens +18 years old who have passed 6 months from the second dose.
If you suspect you are affected by COVID19 or have signs of the disease, isolate yourself immediately and contact your GP for testing or call the National Emergency number at unique 127.
We inform you about the situation in the last 24 hours, as follows: 1836 tests were performed, of which 138 citizens tested positive for COVID19, in the following municipalities:
51 in Tirana, 18 in Fier, 12 in Berat, 8 in Mallakast\u00ebr, 6 in Lushnje, by 4 citizens in Skrapar, Gjirokast\u00ebr, Durr\u00ebs, by 3 citizens in Kam\u00ebz, P\u00ebrmet, Tepelena, Memaliaj, by 2 citizens in Dimal, Vlora, Lezh\u00eb, Tropoj\u00eb, by 1 citizen in Mirdit\u00eb, Kruj\u00eb, Vora, Dib\u00ebr, Mat, Roskovec, Sarand\u00eb, Kor\u00e7\u00eb, Ku\u00e7ov\u00eb, Gramsh, Librazhd.
There are 5349 active COVID19 patients nationwide.
Currently 147 patients are being treated in COVID hospitals, of which 15 are in more serious condition. Despite the efforts of doctors, in the last 24 hours there are 6 lives lost with SARS-COV2 positive: a citizen from Vlora 55 years old, two citizens from Durr\u00ebs aged 65-67 years, a citizen from Elbasan 67 years old, a citizen from Berat 70 years old, a citizen from Tirana 81 years old,
The Ministry of Health and Social Protection expressed its condolences to the families.
