The Ministry of Health appeals to citizens to be vaccinated as soon as possible, to protect themselves and the health of others.
Any citizen over the age of 16 can be vaccinated at the health center or at the nearest centralized vaccination point. AntiCOVID vaccines reduce the chance of infection and greatly avoid hospitalizations and fatalities.
Vaccination is also open for children +12 years old with immune system problems, with a doctor’s recommendation. Vaccination with the third dose has also started for all citizens +18 years old who have passed 6 months from the second dose.
If you suspect you are affected by COVID19 or have signs of the disease, isolate yourself immediately and contact your GP for testing or call the National Emergency number at unique 127.
We inform you about the situation in the last 24 hours, as follows: 2601 tests were performed, of which 326 citizens tested positive with COVID19, in the following municipalities:
134 in Tirana, 23 in Fier, 19 in Durr\u00ebs, 15 in Elbasan, 13 in Vlora, out of 9 citizens in Kamza, Lushnje, 8 in Shijak, 7 in Gjirokastra, out of 6 citizens in Berat, Saranda, Patos, Vora, out of 5 citizens in Shkodra, Kavaja, Mallakast\u00ebr, from 4 citizens in Skrapar, Ku\u00e7ov\u00eb, Dib\u00ebr, from 3 citizens in Vau i Dej\u00ebs, Rrogozhin\u00eb, P\u00ebrmet, Memaliaj, from 2 citizens in Gramsh, Peqin, Poli\u00e7an, Dimal, Tepelena, Divjak\u00eb, Kurbin, Mirdit\u00eb, Lezh\u00eb, Tropoj\u00eb, by 1 citizen in Kuk\u00ebs, Has, K\u00eblcyr\u00eb, Kor\u00e7\u00eb, Devoll, Cerrik.
There are 5,640 active COVID19 patients nationwide.
Currently 133 patients are being treated in COVID hospitals, of which 13 are in more serious condition. Despite the efforts of doctors, in the last 24 hours there are 8 lives lost with SARS-COV2 positive: a citizen from Tepelena 61 years old, a citizen from Ku\u00e7ova 65 years old, two citizens from Tirana aged 70-71 years, two citizens from Berat aged 56-65, a citizen from Fier 72 years old, a citizen from Kruja 77 years old.
The Ministry of Health and Social Protection expressed its condolences to the families.
206 citizens have been cured in the last 24 hours, bringing the number of cured to 195,629 since the beginning of the epidemic. <\/p>\n
