Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskly has directly called on senior Russian officials and media figures to resign from their posts and take a stand against the occupation of Ukraine.
In a video message shared last night from the Ukrainian capital Kiev, Zelensky addressed all officials of the Russian Federation.
“If you stay in office, if you do not oppose the war, the international community will deprive you of everything,” Zelensky said.
“Resign! “A few months without a job is definitely better for you than a life of international persecution,” he concluded.
