People from Kosovo also took part in the protest called by the former Prime Minister at the PD headquarters.
They were escorted yesterday by the police and were identified as:
Valdrin Dervishaj, 33 years old; Arben Dervishaj, 38 years old; Arben Dervishaj, 39 years old; Qendrim Dervishaj, 26 years old; Orges Dervishaj, 20 years old.
Meanwhile, the number of people escorted for the violence in yesterday’s protest at the blue headquarters has reached 60.
The protest called by Seli Berisha at the PD headquarters, started yesterday at noon and Berisha’s supporters gave the signs that the continuation would be violent.
They started cursing and insulting all the deputies who support Basha. The first was MP Xhelal Mziu.
Roland Bejko, a member of the leadership of this political force, found himself in the same situation and was hit while trying to enter the blue headquarters. Berisha’s supporters forced him to leave.
“I was hit by a man I was holding with bread,” said Bejko.
Sali Berisha arrived exactly around 12 o’clock in the yard of the Democratic Party, while Lulzim Basha to avoid incidents entered the headquarters at 8:00. This was the first message from Sali Berisha.
The mission of the protesters was clear. Admission at all costs to the blue headquarters. They could only enter the first floor and tried unsuccessfully to dismantle the armored doors leading to the second floor.
The attempt to get the headquarters continued from the outside through the stairs. Those who wanted to enter through the windows were confronted with tear gas thrown from inside the PD headquarters.
The determination to take over the headquarters was centered on a side door utilizing levers and tombs. From the only cracks they could make, they got back a huge amount of gas released from the inside.
After more than two hours of protest, the PD headquarters turned into a crime zone with extensive damage to its front. The intervention of the police at the request of the Democratic Party caused the protesters to disperse while Berisha was inside the headquarters.
Afterwards, Berisha left in the direction of the Prime Minister, where he announced the dispersal of the protest.
“We distribute to deal with the injured and arrested,” said Berisha.
Inside the PD headquarters stood the leaders, Basha’s supporting deputies who guarded the doors and the police in the yard.
