Ministry of Health: 7023 tests, 2163 infected citizens, 3 loss of life and 824 healed in the last 24 hours
The Ministry of Health appeals to citizens to be vaccinated as soon as possible, to protect themselves and the health of others.
Any citizen over 16 years of age can be vaccinated at the health center or at the nearest centralized vaccination point.
Vaccination is also open for children +12 years old with immune system problems, with a doctor’s recommendation.
MSHMS appeals to citizens who have passed 6 months from the second dose of vaccine, to go to health centers or centralized vaccination points, to be vaccinated with the third booster dose.
AntiCOVID vaccines reduce the chance of infection and greatly avoid hospitalizations and fatalities.
The Ministry of Health reminds the citizens that the observance of anticovid protocols is a necessity for the protection of health.
Mask placement is mandatory in any enclosed environment. Avoid crowds and ventilate your premises to limit the spread of Covid-19.
If you suspect that you are affected by COVID19 or have signs of the disease, isolate yourself immediately and contact your family doctor to be tested as soon as possible or call the National Emergency on the unique number 127.
We inform you about the situation in the last 24 hours, as follows: 7023 tests were performed, out of which were positive with COVID19, 2163 citizens, in the following municipalities:
1018 in Tirana, 110 in Shkodra, 95 in Durres, 86 in Vlora, 70 in Elbasan, 69 in Fier, 55 in Kamza, 50 in Kurbin, 46 in Gjirokastra, 45 in Lushnje, 43 in Berat, out of 36 citizens in Korca, Lezha, 33 in Saranda, 32 in Pogradec, 27 in Kruja, 21 in Kuçova, 19 in Vora, 17 in Patos, out of 15 citizens in Gramsh, Mallakastër, 14 in Dibër, out of 13 citizens in Divjaka, Devoll, Dimal, Shijak, 12 in Skrapar, from 10 citizens in Cerrik, Tepelena, Përmet, Kavaja, 9 in Delvinë, from 8 citizens in Librazhd, Peqin, 7 in Poliçan, from 6 citizens in Belsh, Mirditë, from 5 citizens in Malësi e Madhe, Kukës, Tropoja, Rrogozhina, Selenica, Dropull, Memaliaj, from 4 citizens in Konispol, Mat, from 3 citizens in Vau i Dejës, Has, Libohovë, Kolonjë, Prrenjas, from 1 citizen in Puka, Klos, Roskovec, Himara, Këlcyrë.
There are 20,409 active COVID19 patients nationwide.
Currently 148 patients are being treated in COVID hospitals, of which 17 are in more serious condition. In the last 24 hours, despite the efforts of the medical staff, there are three lives lost with SARS-COV2 positive: a citizen from Berat 78 years old, a citizen from Tirana 82 years old, a citizen from Durrës 88 years old.
The Ministry of Health and Social Protection expressed its condolences to the families.
882 citizens have been cured in the last 24 hours, bringing the number of cured to 207,266 since the beginning of the epidemic.
