Prime Minister Edi Rama in a conference with the President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan mentioned some of the projects implemented in our country thanks to the help of the Turkish government, thanking him several times.
The head of the Albanian government stressed that the Albanian health service should be at the level of the Turkish one, emphasizing that nothing is impossible with the support of the Turkish president.
“An important and beautiful day for us. They already have better conditions than before the earthquake left them homeless. I want to thank the president who was with us from the first second after the earthquake with a very concrete commitment, he kept his word, but this is not news when it comes to President Erdogan, because he does something when they say it. One might think that I am overdoing it with thanksgiving, but as the Prophet Muhammad says, ‘he who does not thank people has not thanked God’ and for this deed thanksgiving is never enough. At the meeting in Ankara, I did not place a bet with the president on the Fier Hospital that I would lose. As far as I know the president does not place bets, but follows football without bets. Our ambition is for the health service to be as big as the Turkish health service. “Today it does not seem impossible to anyone as long as we have the support of Erdogan and the authorities of the Turkish government in this effort”, said Rama.
One of the projects that is coming to life with the support of the Turkish government is the first technology park in our country.
“The good news is that, as discussed, the introduction of the Albanian language as a language of choice in Turkish education is a reality. Monitoring of Albania’s roads with smart cameras thanks to the assistance of the Turkish government. The project of the first technology park is taking shape thanks to the support of the president. “We are working to increase intelligence capacity in the field of tax and customs revenues to increase trade volume.”, said the Prime Minister.
Rama also touched on the tourism sector, which should be worked on according to the leader of the Albanian government. He said that the level of Turkish visitors in Albania is not in line with the love between the two peoples, but this trend will change.
“We are not jealous of our neighbors, but how it comes to us that millions of Turkish tourists go to other countries. The level of Turkish visitors in Albania is not in line with the love between these two peoples, we will start to change this trend “, said Rama.
