Former United States President Donald Trump yesterday celebrated the resignation of CNN chief Jeff Zucker from an undeclared intimate affair with colleagues, calling him a “world-famous scumbag.”
In a statement released to the media by email, Trump wrote uncensored: “Jeff Zucker, is a world-famous trash who has long been at the helm of the network without real news CNN. “He was fired, among other things, for the fact that CNN no longer knows how to attract its listeners or anyone else.”
“There is now a chance for them to give up fake news because there is nothing more beautiful than correcting the crippled line media in the US, and around the world. “Jeff Zucker is gone, so congratulations to everyone!” Trump added.
Yesterday Zucker announced colleagues that he was resigning after he had not declared his intimate relationship with the chief spokeswoman and marketing director of the network CNN Allison Gollust, a connection known as “open secret” throughout the American media world.
Zucker has often retorted with Trump during his presidency, and CNN has been the main source of negative news for Trump, even though they previously had a close working relationship.
When he was president of NBC Entertainment, Zucker ran the reality show starring Trump as “The Apprentice.”
